Elisabeth states that she is an observer of the ordinary - that is anything but ordinary! She believes that there are amazing stories just waiting to be told. She loves to keep an eye on nature and have a camera ready for the inevitable play of light, activity, and movement of her surrounding landscape.
After taking hundreds of images, she will see that special moment that calls to be painted. Living in Ventura County, she is particularly drawn to the local field workers and the sandy beaches. She has studied with the likes of Barry John Raybould and Ken Auster, as well as teaching workshops on "en plein air".
